True embodiment is about finally slowing down to inhabit your own skin. We believe inspiration and celebration are sacred—and that the skin is a living canvas for memory, emotion, and vision. We don't just apply stains; we inspire deep, beautiful embodiment for creatives and lovers of beauty.
Our Story
Founded by Nashville-based artist Ania Diallo, 9Muses Henna was born from her mission to make art more accessible. What began as painting and storytelling evolved into a living art form—henna—as a bridge between beauty and embodiment.
Inspired by the nine ancient muses, Ania envisioned each service, workshop, and design as a channel for creative awakening. The muses, known as shapeshifting forces of inspiration across art and science, became the spiritual foundation of the brand—encouraging others to adorn themselves for creative expression and inspiration.
As her artistry grew, so did her reach. From intimate weddings and wellness retreats to large-scale cultural activations, Ania’s henna became synonymous with experience—a celebration of diversity, spirituality, and story. Each stroke carried heritage and healing, designed to empower every muse she meets.
